ADDRESS LOCK & FINAL STEPS

Hi All,
I hope it's been a balmy and calm start of summer for everyone!
The prints, pins, bookmarks, and stickers are all officially at our shipping DC, at White Squirrel, or expected to arrive within the next few days. The final round of books went into full production a few weeks ago and should be nearing the end of their creation stage. They should ship out within the next few weeks.
So I'm proud to announce, with much excitement, that we'll start shipping out packages as we head into summer.
At this point, you'll all have received an email giving you a final notice to check and lock your addresses through Backerkit. This will give you the opportunity to make any last minute updates or adjustments to your shipping address. Addresses for these orders will automatically lock in 2 days, so please be sure to check and update yours' if any changes need to be made.
I can update these orders later, manually, but there's a higher room for error in that case and a greater chance your change will be missed.

SHIPPING UPDATES - 04/20

Hey all,
I hope you're all doing well and (with any luck) enjoying a new break to some balmy spring weather. I wanted to provide a quick update as to where we are with shipping and fulfillment:
- The enamel pins arrived yesterday and look fantastic! The full run of them are in hand and ready to send out to backers once all the product has arrived.
- Bookplates, stickers, and bookmarks have been fully printed and are awaiting fulfillment.
- The postcard print proofs look fantastic and are awaiting a go-ahead order for the full run, which brings me to my next point:
- The actual physical book is on its' second, and hopefully last, test proof. We had some spine and alignment issue with the first one, due to the glue-binding process used, so after some quick fixes and a fair amount of back and forth with the manufacturer we're on our way to full production. I want to do one more proof before we print the full run.
Thank you again for all of your patience and support! We're plugging along and will have these books in your hands for early summer at the latest. :)

PRINTED PROOFS

Hey all,
Checking in with some photos of the printed proofs! Other than a few minor edits on the actual physical book itself, before we print the full run, production has been going smoothly and all of the quality is turning out great. Here's a quick sneak peek of what we're working with, and what you can expect to see in your mailboxes in the next few weeks.
Provided the Evergreen gets out of the Suez Canal.
The enamel pins are currently in manufacturing - a process that'll take a few more weeks - but the full run of the bookmarks and stickers have been printed and are in hand. The print proofs have all checked out and we're moving into the full production. Once the book proofs are up to standard, they'll swiftly follow suit.

HOUSEKEEPING - Printing & Shipping

Hi all,
It's been a little while since our last update!
Printing and manufacturing of all our books and merchandise is now underway. Everything is either still in progress, already shipped out, or awaiting final approval of the printed proofs. I expect the majority of the goods that have already shipped to arrive by the end of the week.
I do ask for your patience during this time, as some items (particularly the enamel pins) have standard lead times of about 4-5 weeks before shipping, but in a perfect world and on an ideal schedule, backer fulfilment should start going out by April.
I thank you again for your support and your patience with HIRAETH's initial funding run, second funding run, and fulfillment. 2020 and 2021 came with their own unique challenges, but we're all working hard and pressing forward despite it.

DIGITAL DOWNLOADS

As short and sweet as it gets: all HIRAETH digital downloads have been sent out.
Please check your email, including your junk folder. The downloads will have been sent out directly from Backerkit and should contain three files in whatever format (.pdf, epub, .modi) is most convenient for you and your system.
I know I've said it before but I'll say it again: the book looks beautiful. The artists did an amazing job and I think we have a beautiful showcase of experiences, talents, art, and the homes, both real and imagined, that people long for. Please don't hesitate to tell us what you thought, we just ask that you tag us on twitter if you do. ;)
Otherwise, stay tuned for physical rewards, which will begin shipping in the next coming months.
